WHAT THE SAMAA DOES FOR ITS MEMBERS
The SAMAA is committed to ensuring that its members can continue to enjoy their hobby. Therefore it will:
• Establish links with the relevant authorities to safeguard its use of airspace and radio frequencies.
• Assist clubs if need-be regarding flying field tenure.
• Negotiate effective insurance arrangements.
• Encourage a culture of safe flying.
• Establish a system of proficiency tests to challenge its members to improve their skill.
• Encourage competition at all levels
• Address the current social imbalance within the country as it applies to our hobby.
• Give advice and guidance to empower individuals, clubs, interest groups, and regional associations, to manage their affairs effectively.
• Conduct the business of the association in the best interests of the members in a transparent manner.
